PAPAYA WELLNESS is the result of years of dedication to health, balance, enjoyment and discovery.

India Reinartz founded Papaya Wellness with a vision of beautiful simplicity. Papaya Wellness is an experience in a breathtaking location filled with warm-hearted people and a healthy, balanced and nourishing lifestyle for the mind, body and soul. Our purpose is to bring these elements to others and enjoy the experience of living life fully, out loud, as a collective.

India and Carly joined forces, creating a dynamic duo of strong and independent surfer women. Carly and India combine all elements through yoga, surfing, adventure, joy, balance and infectious positive energy. They are now ecstatic to travel the globe and share their favourite spots with you!

Wild and Free

I have the fire, the passion, the curiosity to explore, see the world and the desire to revolt the expected.

With a surfboard under one arm and a handful of adventure in the other, I embarked on a long journey of self exploration, self teaching and risk taking to create the life I dreamt of.

People tell me everyday "you have it figured out", " you live the dream". My response comes from a point of view, because I've been there too.  I felt the fire burn inside to change, explore and learn what I can do.  The best thing to do is start...  You dictate the direction of your life, you control the decisions of everyday actions, you have a heart that leads the way you just need to listen. If it feels right move forward, face fears and trust. The unknown is scary but rewarding. How ever it turns out it will be great.

Papaya Wellness was born. My business partner Carly Chivers and  I had the same dream. We strive together to build a company with values and goals that support our travel and spread the gospel of a living healthy balance lifestyle. We encourage people to see that this world we breathe, eat and sleep on is filled with opportunities, adventures, knowledge.

The possibilities are limitless!

"Each breath is a gift, and each day is an opportunity to create the life you want. Live with joy, align with your values and express your love."

I walk a path of self-inquiry, and yoga has been a beautiful tool in this ongoing exploration. Yoga started as the balancing medium for other physical pursuits in my life and is now the grounded platform from which I move.

Surfing lights my fire and has led me on adventures worldwide. My connection to the ocean is my most significant influence and source of inspiration in my yoga practice. Sharing the ocean's power, immensity and beauty is a true and humbling gift. I am amazed at the parallels and lessons we learn from mother ocean and how those lessons support us in bringing awareness, an open heart and fluidity into our daily life. I am learning to let go more and more by the day, riding the waves.

In 2020 I graduated from a three-year program in Transpersonal Psychology and Counselling. I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, RTC, with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists in Canada (ACCT #2854). I now offer 1:1, group and couples counselling through my private practice, Embodied Nature Counselling. I believe that each of us connecting to ourselves and each other from our authenticity and heart will heal the planet!

By cultivating connection in our communities, using honest communication, listening with curiosity, playing together and working with compassion and creativity, we can support and bolster each other to walk our unique paths of growth and evolution.

Teaching, sharing my passion and encouraging you to find what inspires you is what keeps my stoke going!

EMY DOSSETT | SURF PHOTOGRAPHER

I am an Australian surf photographer floating around in Sayulita, Mexico! Since I was 19 years old, I thought that one day I’d like to live in Mexico. Fast forward to 2018, I left Australia with hopes of learning to speak Spanish fluently, surf almost everyday, creating wonderful human connections and pursuing my career in Photography.

I’m having a bloody wonderful time attempting all four things.

I love anything to do with Latino music and shaking my booty, endless adventures, long boarding, the ocean (kinda obvious) and photography. You’ll find me cruising around with a big fat smile on my face and crazy blonde curls, sometimes with one foot on the ground and my head in the clouds but most of the time, floating around the sea.

LINNEA BROLOUND | SURF INSTRUCTOR, SWIMSUIT DESIGNER

Linnea is Swedish wonder! She is so many things: A mom to the two cutest babes. A stylish and graceful longboarder. A solid, fun and honest surf coach, who is so patient and caring with her students

She is also an incredibly talented swimwear designer, and makes every suit by hand! Check out @elvilou on Instagram for her unique, well made custom designs! If you are lucky, she will have a full stock, while you are on retreat in San Pancho, Nayarit, and you can pick up your own unique design!

RAHNGHILD WATSON | COOK (NICARAGUA BASE)

“When I am cooking I connect with my creativity and find that space of tranquility and joy.“

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Rahnghild has fully embraced the motto of her country, “Out of many, one people”. Her love of ethnicity and her study of anthropology and communications brought her to community development work with an immigrant and refugee agency.

Throughout her life a passion for the culture of food has been a constant. The nourishment it supplies for our bodies, the cultural role it plays and the ability it holds to bring people together. For the past two decades she has catered for a variety of themed events and offered her fares at community markets. Rahnghild made a commitment to maintaining good health through food and lifestyle at an early age. She has kept that promise to herself and shared her philosophy with her family and friends. The journey segues and includes Papaya Wellness.
